Surviving and thriving in the media industry is easier said than done and few have the breadth of experience as Cirina Catania. As part of the Utah Film Commission, she was a co-founder of the Sundance Film Festival and later she was a Vice President of Worldwide Marketing at MGM-UA and United Artists. She is a member of the PGA, WGA, and IATSE-Local 600 and has worked as a writer, director, supervising producer, cinematographer, post-producer, or marketing exec on over 130 film, television, and new media projects for the big screen as well as for networks such as National Geographic, Discovery, etc.
Cirina will join us for our September meeting to remind us that we all face difficulties in our careers. How can you overcome burnout, animosity, and fear? Learn how Cirina uses preparation, organization, rest, self-respect, and community to overcome creative landmines. It's sure to be a fun and interactive workshop as we explore how to build success by appreciating the Past, enjoying the Present, and kickstarting the Future of YOUR projects!
