Speakers

  • James Alburger - ADR, Looping and Foley Techniques for Amazing Sound
James Alburger has worked with sound for more than 50 years - starting at the age of 12, when he taught himself to edit music using a grease pencil, scissors and scotch tape. That led to a career in recording studios followed by 25 years with NBC in San Diego, where he received 11 Emmy Awards. The sixth edition of his book, "The Art of Voice Acting" will be published in March, 2019. He has also handled sound design and audio production for dozens of award-winning productions. For the past two decades, James has provided voiceover, coaching and audio production services through his VoiceActing Academy (www.VoiceActing.com) and his production company, Cigma Media (www.CigmaMedia.com).

  • Eric Addison - Corporate Storytelling Workflows in Adobe Premiere Pro
Eric Addison is the guy behind 100 ACRE FILMS. Depending on the day, he’s a director, producer, cinematographer, and/or editor. He’s a proud graduate of the SDSU film program, winner of some Telly Awards, Emmy nominated, and a future Oscar contender. His usual projects include corporate spots, promos, commercials, and the occasional short film. He’s also the manager of the San Diego Premiere Pro User Group – which makes sense since he’s been using it since the late ‘90s.
