An editor's job used to be simple: focus on the picture cut and then hand things off to other specialists for the rest of the post-production process. Now, thanks to new tools and new expectations, an editor's job encompasses more and more of the work to finish a film or video. Audio editing and mixing, color grading, graphics and visual effects–it all ends up in the edit bay these days.

Join us for a panel discussion with local editors as we explore typical film and video editing projects, changing software and expectations, how to collaborate effectively in post, and what the future might hold as technology marches on.

Members: Monthly meetings are included with your membership.
Non-Members: $15 pre-registered, $20 same-day or at the door.
Students: Free with student ID and pre-registration
