Sitting among typical office buildings on a quiet street in Miramar, just west of I-15, is a Mecca for America’s beer makers: White Labs Brewing. Housed inside a yeast factory producing brewers yeast since 1995, White Labs San Diego Kitchen & Tap was started in 2012 as a way to showcase the influence and impact yeast fermentation has on beer. In 2022, they opened up a kitchen to meld the science of fermentation with the culinary arts.

One of the tenants at White Labs is improving their craft by blending science and art.Coincidentally, that’s tenant for San Diego Media Pros as well, which is why White Labs Brewing is the home of our next  Sync Up. Here you can meet and mingle with colleagues new and old to share in passion we all have for the production arts. As is our tradition, we will have Mentor Hour with three fascinating professionals: screenwriter Laurie Lamson, producer and production educator Jodi Cilley, and location manager Lisa Rothmuller. Some fantastic, fermentation-inspired pizza options are available at White Labs as is a rotating selection of non-alcoholic sodas, kombucha, coffee and more.
